Leonie Kaiser

After doing gymnastics her entire life, Leonie looked for a new passion and challenge where she could combine learning and expressing herself. In 2018 Leonie stumbled over Brazilian zouk at a social party in Berlin and immediately fell in love with the dance. A world of expressing joy, being fully present in the moment and being creative through dance. Attracted by its complexity, she directly knew that Brazilian zouk is the challenge she was looking for and that that's the dance through which she wants to express herself.

 

After learning more and more as a zouk dancer, Leonie is now super motivated to grow the Brazilian Zouk community in Basel. She wants to give the opportunity to others to feel this freedom and variety of movement, the elegance and the flow, which makes it so special compared to other dances.
