About the Event
Join this incredible 8-day Zouk experience to move, shake and flow with music, people and nature.
What to expect:
1. Zoukenergy retreats are a place to discover more about yourself through the exercises, connections and parties that are designed to expand your perceptions and body awareness.
2. You can expect to learn Zouk technique, practice embodiment and experience connection in an open hearted community of dance and movement lovers.
3. Zoukenergy retreats are all about hollistic health, well-being and celebration.
Everyday there will be a selection of activities available:
- Learn Brazilian Zouk (two levels of Zouk classes - if you're a beginner or a pro there is something for you)
- Zouk Parties (social dance in the beautiful 170sm seminar room with live DJ's and epic atmosphere's)
- Ecstatic Dance (freestyle to the live music of Umanaya)
- Meditation (different forms of meditation)
- Group Acitivities: Rituals and Games (fun, connection and sacred experiences)
- Embodied Dance (solo, partner and group movement practices)
- Celebration (we will explore and celebrate the natural elements, earth, air, water and fire)
Food
- You are in for a treat, our most loved cook across all of our retreats is back, Christina Klassen, sharing her passion and talent for natural beautiful food that takes you into a world of its own (vegan/vegetarian cooking with dairy free and gluten free options for every meal). She really is the best of the best!

Community Guidelines:
This is an 8-day movement and body retreat that will nourish your physical body, expand your mental-perceptions, and balance your energy channels. There are many ways to experience inner/outer body growth. In this retreat we will focus on conscious movement and authentic connections and having fun. This retreat is an alcohol, caffeine and drug free retreat.

About Zoukies
Zoukies is a dance school for Brazilian Zouk and Embodied Dance with the focus on freeing ones mind, body and soul into the full expression of "being alive". We learn a combination of technique, connection and open-hearted authentic relating so as to bring love, trust and growth into one big and beautiful bubble of dance, movement and connection.
